The lake side 19th century hotel was in complete disrepair. Under jurisdiction of the Adirondack State Park regulations and New York State historical guidelines, the hotel renovation includes the following: interior and exterior renovation of the structure, the addition of private bath in each guest room, the complete renovation of the kitchen, the addition of a sprinkler system to retain the central open stair as a means of egress, and the addition of a second means of egress attached to the exterior of the building with integrated HC ramp access to the first floor restaurant and guest rooms.
