City of Pittsburgh Historic Preservation Award
The facade was in great disrepair. Neglect caused water damage to brick and woodwork. The roof of the large dormer was completely missing.
The renovation encompassed recreating and/or repairing the original woodwork, rebuilding the missing dormer, and reversing the roof slate. The new insulated storefront required the removal of the dropped ceiling to the original ceiling height. The new sign board and signage complete the renovation.
