The Greek pastry shop and café occupies two floors. The selling area on the first floor retains the original metal ceiling. A new oak stair gives access to the second floor party room designed to evoke the beauty of Greek sky and sea. Hanging ceiling panels originating from the windows create ‘sails’ and conceal lighting that gives the blue painted upper ceiling the dramatic effect of a changing sky.
The new wood floor depicts beach and sea by combining wood flooring in patches of brown and blue. Artistic scenes of Greek seascapes complete the effect.
