Working with the new mezzanine, built by the previous owner, as an independent structure, the design captures additional office space and enhances the church original vault. Designed as demountable pods with no ceiling, the sound-damping homosote clad offices enable a single HVAC system to treat the space as a one unit. Oak trim and details add visual interest and transition panel sections. Interior windows maintain an open layout to encourage collaboration.
Geothermal radiant floor heating heats perimeter and mezzanine floor plate. A high velocity AC system supplies air from both sides of the vault. Pendants provide up-down lighting and reinforce the central layout.
