1003 E. Carson Street is subject to the South Side Historical Main Street guidelines. The design solution includes brick cleaning and re-pointing, painting, the reconstruction of the roof brick parapet, repair of the fascia decorative blocks, roof dormer and a new roof. The roof leader is rerouted around the end block to minimize its impact on the façade.

The choice of colors echoes those of the Luxx clothing retailer occupying the first floor.
